why we’re here

As a father I know that the first great wish for every baby is that they are born perfectly normal and can enjoy all that life has to offer. As a doctor I know that this wish is not always granted. But I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to aspire to this ideal, no matter who they are, what age they are, or where they live.

I’m passionate about solving some of the difficult problems in plastic surgery, and applying the best that emerging technology can offer to constantly advance medical treatments and improve clinical practice. My interest is broad, and I dedicate myself to fields of reconstructive plastic surgery where I feel that my skills and contributions can make a difference.

Dr Joe Dusseldorp is a surgeon based in Sydney Australia. Through his private clinic, hospital consultations and public clinic, he offers a full range of reconstructive plastic surgery, with a particular focus on treatments for microtia and ear reconstruction, skin cancer, and breast reconstruction.

He also offers innovative treatments for cerebral palsy, facial palsy, diabetic feet and peripheral nerve disorders, such as migraine and nerve entrapment. For many of these techniques, this is the first time they have been offered in Australia, representing a wonderful opportunity for patients to now receive treatment at home and not have to travel overseas to seek care.

Find out about the clinic which offers a range of treatments to adults and children, in an environment of understanding and care.

Dr Dusseldorp is driving the development of a new medical device to address the needs of people with cerebral palsy. It integrates emerging technologies with modern medical practice, and aims to take a leap forward in nerve and muscle control. Find out more.
